A peek inside Soul Strength Retreat

Hey, Reader!

Doors to Soul Strength: A Retreat for Women of the Land are *ALMOST* open! EEEKKKKKK!

I know taking time away from your family, your farm and ranch operations, and your daily responsibilities is a big deal. So if you’ve been curious about this retreat but have some questions lingering in the back of your mind—I want to answer them for you.

Here are a few things I’ve been asked (or would be asking myself if I were in your boots):

What/When/Where Details:
Soul Strength Retreat will take place on Flathead Lake, Montana, September 5-7, 2025!

What’s actually included in the retreat?
Your ticket includes two nights of lodging, all your meals, retreat materials, intentional sessions with life coaches (including myself and Kayla Josefiak), quiet time for rest or connection, fun surprises, and a space where you can finally just be.

Is this for me if I’ve never done anything like this before?
Absolutely. This retreat is designed for farm and ranch women who are craving connection, clarity, and a little soul-deep restoration. Whether you're feeling stuck, tired, or just needing a break from the noise—this was made with you in mind.

What if I’m nervous to come alone?
You won't be alone for long! One of the most beautiful things about these gatherings is how quickly strangers become sisters. We'll make sure you feel welcome from the moment you arrive—and if you'd like, we can even pair you with a retreat buddy ahead of time!

What if I don’t consider myself very outgoing?
That’s okay. Come as you are! Wear your comfy clothes all weekend, by all means! You’ll have opportunities to connect—but also space to be quiet, reflect, journal, or simply rest. This retreat is not about being “on” the whole time. It's about coming back to who you are.

What if I want to come but feel guilty leaving the farm/ranch/kids/husband?
Friend, I get it. But I also know you can't pour from an empty cup. Pour into the things that will pour back into you. This time away isn’t a luxury—it’s an investment in your wellbeing. And that investment ripples out to your family, your home, and your community in ways you can’t even imagine yet.

What’s the cost?
The investment for the retreat is $849 (early bird pricing). That includes lodging, meals, all sessions, materials, and extras. We believe this experience is not just restful—it’s transformational. And we want every woman who says yes to herself to know it’s worth every penny.

Payment plans will be available to make this more accessible—details coming when registration opens!

How many spots are available?
This retreat is intentionally small and intimate—we’re only opening it up to 15 women. We want it to feel like a safe, welcoming circle where every woman feels seen and supported. Once those spots are gone, they’re gone!

What’s on the agenda?
While we’re keeping a few details a surprise, you can expect a mix of coaching sessions personalized to farm and ranch life, small group time, hands-on workshops, and a restful space to soak it all in-along the beautiful shores of Flathead Lake, MT. There will be plenty of time to connect with others—and also time to reconnect with yourself and with God.

We’re getting close to opening early bird registration on April 20, and if you're even thinking about joining us, now’s a great time to get on the waitlist so you don’t miss out.

Let me know what’s on your heart. I’m cheering for you always. If you have ANY other questions, hit reply and ask away!

Reader, this isn’t your first rodeo. 🐎 You’re a woman of the land (ie. farmer, rancher, farm/ranch wife, mom, etc) who gives your all to your family, your marriage, and the land you help care for. You stand by your people, through thick and thin. Even when things are hard, you lean on your faith and trust in God's timing. You've walked through storms--literal and emotional--and still keep going. You figure things out, make do, and adapt, even when life feels messy and out of control. You...

Hi Reader, I want to share a part of my story with you today. Four years ago, my friend Natalie (you might know her as @blaze.a.trail) reached out and asked if I wanted to go to a retreat with her in Colorado. We’d grown up in the same community and attended the same church, but we were always in different seasons of life. I actually used to babysit her kids! At the time, she was more of an acquaintance than a close friend. And honestly? I wasn’t sure I should say yes. The retreat felt...
